TOYOTA HILUX FIELD-READY
WE ADAPT THE HILUX FOR EXTREME OFF-ROADING
These two sisters came hand in hand and we took the opportunity to make them together.
This Toyota Hilux preparation has been a success because the budget has been for all budgets and the result obtained has been crazy. We know it's a bad thing to say about ourselves, but it's worth mentioning the great value for money we got!
TECHNICAL CONFIGURATION OF THE TOYOTA

To improve grip and handling in the field we have fitted lighter rims combined with more balloon tyres and reinforced knobs.
Thanks to close cooperation with the company Profender Spain we have developed a lift kit for Toyota Hilux +7cm. The kit consists of Dakar Extreme shock absorbers plus reinforced springs for the weight the vehicle owner usually carries.
This allows us to customise each shock absorber to the customer's use and gives exceptional guarantees.
Thanks to the custom-made Snorkel for this vehicle, it has been possible to gain height to the river and fording capacity.
What's more useful when you get stuck in the mud, or how do you keep your car from sliding down the hill when you're crossing a mountain pass and there's so much ice that you slip out of the car and, wham, it's a smash and grab? To solve all these possible problems, a winch has been installed in the original front bumper, perfectly installed and approved with Wifi control and high resistance steel cable.
TOYOTA HILUX CAMPER VAN PREPARATION "CHATITA".
THE BEST HILUX 4X4 SUSPENSION YOU CAN PUT ON IT
On this occasion it reached us at CSA a rather special job. It was the car that Paco CallejoThe 4×4 engineer and user, well known in the world of 4×4, has been very enthusiastic about his travels. We were going to developing Toyota Hilux suspensions.
As soon as we arrived at our facilities, we knew that the fine-tuning of the suspensions of "La Chatita"The Hilux, as its owner likes to call it, was going to be a challenge for us. Looking at the car, we already have an idea of how heavy the living module will be. We are struck by the large overhang at the rear. These two features will undoubtedly have a major influence on the vehicle's dynamic behaviour.
We got into the car to test it. The Chatita is quite swaying, feels clumsy and doesn't inspire much confidence when cornering. We go out on a track and the suspensions have a lot of work to do. They are unable to control the weight of the car and we are constantly doing compression and extension stops. We notice how all the weight of the cell compresses the rear axle and drags the front of the car making a "see-saw" effect.
With these impressions, we go to our workbench. After some calculations, we find that the spring elements, in this case the front springs and rear leaf springs, are insufficient for the weight of the car. Also, the working pressures of the shock absorbers are too low and do not manage to brake so many inertias.
HOW HAVE WE WORKED ON THE SUSPENSION COLUMN?

We started working on the rear axle, as it is the most delicate part, and we decided to mount double shock absorbers per wheel: one PROFENDER DAKAR EXTREME in the main accommodation and a PROFENDER DAKAR WITH SPRING on a custom-made support. In this way, we distribute the working pressures between two elements, which reduces the stress on the shock absorbers. At the same time, we also relieve the supports of work. We increase the hardness of the shock absorbers both in compression and extension. The spring of the secondary shock absorber would relieve the springs of work.
We test again and the car gains a lot. We now have the rear end under control. However, the "seesaw" effect has not yet disappeared. But we still had to work on the front axle.
We considered two options: double 2″ shock absorbers or a single 2.5″ shock absorber. In the end we opted for the long travel shock absorber for 4×4 PROFENDER DAKAR EXTREMEof 2.5″. Installation was much simpler and, unlike the rear axle, the mounts were not subjected to such high loads. The spring was calculated to help us avoid compression damping and the dampers were set up with fairly high working pressures to control bounce.
We went out for a test drive and... now we're moving along the tracks with a car that inspires confidence. As the shock absorbers start to warm up, we discover a comfortable feel, but one that holds. Ditches, some small jumps, sudden and intentional changes of trajectory, no problem!
ADAPTING THE TOYOTA HILUX FOR 4x4 DRIVING
This time we've reached Nirvana with this Toyota Hilux REVO and its exceptional off-road qualities. If you own a Toyota Hilux and want to prepare it for all kinds of adventures, read on and discover that with a little you can achieve a lot.
HILUX 4x4 SPECIFIC MECHANICAL MODIFICATION

What could be better than not having to stop the adventure when the sun is beating down? That's why we've fitted this Toyota Hilux with two medium-sized LED bars on the front bumper.
In addition, to finish filling the glass, we have installed an LED bar the same width as the vehicle on the Roll Bar of the box, so that in a tris, you turn it all on and another day dawns!
Thanks to close cooperation with the company Profender Spain we have developed a lift kit for Toyota Hilux +7cm. The kit consists of Dakar Extreme shock absorbers plus reinforced springs for the weight the vehicle owner usually carries.

The owner of this affable steed often rides trial bikes, he and his young son. Therefore, one of the requirements for the preparation was to improve the grip system of the bikes in the rear box. For this we have mounted the Roll Bar, with multiple hooks and load holding capacity.
We have also fitted a high load capacity winch integrated into the bumper as standard, allowing you to get out of any tight spot.
And finally we have ensured the protection of the underbody of the car with a duraluminium underbody protector.
And how could we not give it a more powerful look? For this purpose, customised rims have been fitted together with tyres with more ballast and tread suitable for off-road use.
ADAPTING THE TOYOTA HILUX FOR 4x4 DRIVING

TOYOTA HILUX PREPARED BY CSA 4X4
At our workshop, we recognise the versatility and potential of the Toyota Hilux, a vehicle that has earned its reputation as one of the most reliable and robust off-roaders on the market. With this preparation, we have further enhanced its off-road capabilities, optimising its performance, durability and functionality.
HILUX 4x4 SPECIFIC MECHANICAL MODIFICATION

Lighting is essential for night-time adventures, and on this preparation, we have installed two long-range headlights with LED technology. These headlights ensure excellent visibility in low light conditions and comply with current regulations.
To improve the shock absorption capacity and stability in difficult terrain, we have replaced the original front and rear shock absorbers with Profender Spain's Dakar 2.0'' separate bottle shock absorbers. In addition, we have fitted Proland rear leaf spring shocks, which raise the height of the vehicle by +50mm, giving a total height of 1890mm. These modifications not only improve ride height and ground clearance, but also provide better performance on rough terrain.
To enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of the vehicle, several components have been fitted to the bodywork. These include ABS plastic material side sills, which not only protect the mudguards but also reinforce the Hilux's rugged appearance. In addition, tubular side sills have been fitted, providing easier access to the vehicle and adding an extra layer of side protection.
The original tyres have been replaced with larger tyres, specifically 285/70R17 M+S 1218/118Q, mounted on 7.5X17 rims. With the use of approved spacers, we have ensured that there is no mechanical interference, achieving a track width of 1660mm on both axles. These wider tyres provide better traction and grip, essential for the most demanding off-road adventures.
To complement this preparation, we have fitted an aluminium roof rack, ideal for carrying additional equipment on long expeditions. In addition, we have installed a front underbody protector, made of 8mm duraluminium, which protects the vehicle's essential components from knocks and damage caused by rough terrain.
