MODIFICATIONS TO THE 2019 JIMNY
This week at CSA we have something very special to show you: the new SUZUKI JIMNY 2019and yes, we have said it right, the new SUZUKI JIMNY 2019. We had the opportunity to install one of the damping kits. PROLANDwhich included shock absorbers PROFENDER AFRIKA TOURS plus springs, a great option if you want to improve your vehicle's suspension.
After testing it, we can assure that the Jimmy is an off-roader worthy of its name, with a manoeuvrability and resistance at the highest level, besides being a great leap with respect to the previous versions of this, due to the refinement of the finishes of the vehicle, when compared to other versions. Undoubtedly, one of the best 4X4 options on the market right now.
HOW HAVE WE PREPARED THE SUZUKI JIMNY 4X4?
The installation in CSA has allowed all these features to be boosted to the next level. By replacing the standard suspension with the PROLANDIn addition, we have improved reliability, sensitivity and precision by avoiding body roll when cornering, as the AFRIKA TOURS It holds the bodywork much better. The car is now much more confident. We have also gained in suspension travel and, of course, fatigue resistance due to the extra volume of oil in the shock absorber.
By installing the new springs and dampers we have increased the overall height of the body, so to correct the geometry of the panhard bars that hold the body to the axles we have installed new ones. panhard bar supports made to measure.
To be able to climb and descend with control you need great brakes, so we've fitted larger diameter discs reinforced with metal hoses.
Finally, and to crown the preparation, we have bought him new shoes with which he can drive as hard as a Unimog. Thanks to the new knobby tyres, the new rims and, most importantly, the new wheel spacers. We have brought a wonderful stability and safety to the big little guy.

JIMNY 4x4 PREPARATION
What is more important is the amount of fuel that enters the piston or the amount of exhaust gases that are evacuated. Well, although it may not seem like it, more power is obtained by evacuating more gases, which is why we have installed a new exhaust system on this vehicle to improve the evacuation.
In addition we have installed the Snorkel to be able to wade in deep rivers as you wish.

SUZUKI JIMNY PREPARATION BY CSA
A number of modifications have been implemented to improve off-road performance by optimising the suspension, body and wheels. Below are the changes in each area to maximise its capability and robustness on demanding routes.
JIMNY 4x4 PREPARATION
The wheel system has been upgraded with the installation of four 6.5X17-inch tyres mounted on 6.5X17-inch rims. To ensure greater stability, 30 mm wheel spacers have been fitted with double centring and anchoring, without interfering with any of the vehicle's mechanical components. In addition, four 40 mm rubber bumpers have been added, which increase lateral protection and offer better control of mud and other elements that may adhere to the wheels.
Four Profender Afrika Tour shock absorbers have been fitted, as well as a Jimny-specific Profender steering damper. These changes allow for more effective shock absorption, improving stability and control over rough terrain. In addition, four Ironman brand suspension springs have been fitted, contributing to increased ride height and flexibility.
The body of the Suzuki Jimny has been reinforced with the installation of a CSA branded fibre snorkel, which allows air to enter at a higher height without changing the original location of the filter or other components. This is essential for riding in wet or dusty terrain, protecting the engine from external elements. In addition, 6 mm thick duraluminium underbody protectors, also from CSA, have been fitted, providing an additional barrier against knocks and damage to vulnerable areas of the chassis.
