MERCEDES BENZ SPRINTER 202 4X2 PREPARED
In our latest project, we have had the opportunity to transform a Mercedes Sprinter 2020 4×2, giving it off-road capabilities that rival 4×4 vehicles. Despite being a two-wheel drive van with no differential lock, our team's preparation has maximised its performance. We fitted the Sprinter with a customised suspension, using Dakar shock absorbers from profender and bespoke springs from proland, which resulted in a significant increase of the vehicle height by +5 cm. In addition, we installed a heavy-duty front bumper, custom rims and 235/85/16 tyres, optimising traction and stability in difficult terrain. To ensure durability in extreme conditions, underbody protection designed specifically for this model was added, along with a kingone winch for rescue situations and a full LED lighting system that improves visibility in any environment. This preparation proves that, with the right modifications, a 4×2 vehicle can push traditional limits and perform with great off-road efficiency.

MERCEDES SPRINTER HYMMER MLT 570 4X4
We specialise in transforming vehicles such as the Mercedes Sprinter Hymmer MLT 570 4X4, raising its performance and safety to exceptional levels, especially in difficult terrain. In order to maximise the off-road capabilities of this model, we have installed an advanced PROLAND suspension KIT, designed specifically for the Mercedes Sprinter 4×4.
THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE MODIFIED
The heart of this preparation lies in the installation of the PROLAND KIT, which includes DAKAR TRAIL front shocks and DAKAR PRO rear shocks. The front shocks feature an inverted monotube design with internal nitrogen chamber and threaded body, offering height and preload adjustment to suit different riding conditions. A reinforcing spring has been added for the original leaf spring, along with a droop adjustable cupsole, improving the vehicle's stability and handling. At the rear, DAKAR PRO shock absorbers, with their separate extruded aluminium cylinder, allow precise adjustment to optimise suspension response under various loads and terrains, providing a more controlled and comfortable ride.
To complement the upgraded suspension, the Sprinter has been fitted with 7×16-inch Braid Winrace Tmono wheels, known for their strength and durability in off-road conditions. These wheels are fitted with 245/75R16 Yokohama G015 A/T tyres, which offer exceptional performance on both paved roads and off-road terrain. These tyres provide an excellent balance of traction, durability and comfort, ensuring the Sprinter is ready to take on any challenge on the road.
To protect the vehicle's critical components, a custom-made 6mm thick duraluminium rear underguard has been fitted by PROLAND. This protector is designed to withstand the impact and wear and tear associated with rough terrain driving, ensuring that the Sprinter maintains its integrity and functionality even in the most extreme conditions.

The Mercedes Sprinter has been thoroughly prepared to optimise its performance in off-road conditions, improving its strength, load capacity and adaptability on demanding routes. This transformation has focused on reinforcing its structure and key components, divided into improvements to the suspension, running gear, protection, lighting and overall vehicle structure.
THIS IS HOW WE HAVE IMPROVED THE SPRINTER
The suspension has been reinforced with the installation of shock absorbers. Proland Dakar Trail on both the front and rear axles, which significantly improves shock absorption capacity and comfort on uneven terrain. The following have been added upper front wings to increase the robustness of the front-end system and rear chocks which raise the rear of the vehicle, allowing greater ground clearance. In addition, a additional extra load leaf springoptimising the weight-bearing capacity in high or prolonged load situations.
The running-in system has been optimised with the installation of specific wheels and tyres for off-road useThe new tyre is designed to increase the contact surface, traction and resistance to uneven terrain. This improvement is key to ensuring a safe and efficient ride in extreme conditions, adapting the vehicle to different types of surface without compromising performance.
The wheel arches have been widened by using fibre parts, which can accommodate larger tyres and provide additional protection against splashes and debris from the ground, as well as a more robust and functional visual appearance.
The Sprinter now has long-range headlampsThe new lamps are essential to ensure clear and deep visibility when driving at night or in low light conditions, providing safety on long off-road journeys.
In order to improve the ability to move forward in adverse conditions, a front winchThis is useful in traffic jams or for assisting other vehicles. It is also fitted with a front underbody protectorwhich protects essential vehicle components against impacts with obstacles in the terrain. In addition, the relocation of the central transmission to correct the working angle, which prevents premature wear and improves power transmission to the wheels in mechanically demanding situations.
