CHANGES IN CLASS X
This project represents a combination of advanced engineering and specialist design, aimed at maximising both off-road performance and vehicle aesthetics. Our aim has been to tailor this pick-up so that it not only offers superior handling in challenging terrain, but also stands out for its ruggedness and elegance.
Throughout this process, we have implemented a number of key modifications covering suspension, wheels and bodywork. Each of these elements has been carefully selected and fine-tuned to ensure that the MERCEDES-BENZ X 350d 4MATIC not only meets the highest performance standards, but also offers an optimal and safe driving experience.
THE BEST OF OUR PREPARATIONS
We have installed a high quality suspension from central4x4 by proland suspension. The front and rear shock absorbers are Afrika Tours Profender models, designed to withstand the most demanding conditions and offer superior ride comfort. In addition, we have incorporated PROLAND springs, which provide greater support and stability on uneven terrain, guaranteeing optimum performance on every adventure.
As for the wheels, we opted for custom BRAID Winrace T wheels in the 8×18 size, which not only enhance the aesthetics of the vehicle, but also contribute to better traction and handling. COOPERTIRES STMAXX 305/60R18 tyres perfectly complement these wheels, offering excellent grip and durability, ideal for tackling any off-road challenge.
To give it a distinctive and functional touch, we have added several components to the bodywork. The ABS bumpers not only enhance the appearance, but also protect the bodywork from the elements. The stainless steel front bumper with 76 mm diameter tube offers additional protection and a robust presence. The stainless steel roll bar on the rear box and the rear box louvre complete this set-up, providing both safety and style.

PREPARATION
The Mercedes X-Class is a pick-up with a unique DNA, combining the elegance and refinement characteristic of the German brand with the versatility of an off-road vehicle. However, for those seeking a higher level of performance and off-road capability, we have carried out a first-class preparation, optimising every key aspect of its mechanics and design.
This transformation not only enhances the vehicle's aesthetics and presence, but turns it into a true machine ready to tackle any terrain. From advanced suspension to optimised lighting, every modification has been designed to maximise performance without losing the comfort and premium essence of the X-Class.
PRECISION ABSOLUTE CONTROL
To raise the off-road performance of this Mercedes X-Class, we have replaced the original suspension with a new one. King Shocks by a superior system. It now equips Profender Spain Dakar Extreme 2.5'' shock absorbers and springs with separate bottleboth on the front and rear axles.
This improvement not only provides impeccable absorption over rough terrain, but also provides more suspension travel, allowing the vehicle to tackle obstacles with confidence. As a result of these changes, the X-Class achieves a new ride height of 1965 mmoptimising its ground clearance without compromising its stability.
In addition, the following have been installed Proland Rear Bump StopsThe new tyres are designed to provide better control in extreme compressions and to absorb strong impacts in demanding driving situations.
The change of suspension is complemented by a new set of rims with optimised offsetdesigned to improve track width without affecting the vehicle's mechanics. Following this modification, the X-Class now features a greater width at the front and rear axlesThe new, improved stability when cornering and a safer ride on rough terrain.
An off-road preparation is not complete without a lighting system that guarantees visibility in all conditions. This is why we have equipped this X-Class with:
- Two long-range LED OFFROAD headlamps with 25 points of light per headlamp, type-approved with  electromagnetic compatibility. These headlamps provide a powerful and well-distributed beam, ensuring exceptional visibility on night-time routes.
- An LED work bar mounted on the original vehicle railsdesigned to provide wide and uniform illumination in low visibility areas or rescue and manoeuvring situations at night.
