JEEP WRANGLER JL OFF ROAD PREPARATION
At our specialist 4×4 workshop in Madrid, we have taken this Jeep Wrangler JL to a new standard of off-road performance. This preparation is designed for those looking to not only improve the off-road capabilities of their vehicle, but also to increase its safety, reliability and dynamic behaviour both on and off-road. Below is a breakdown of each improvement implemented on this project so you can get a detailed technical assessment of the type of work we do.
TAILOR-MADE 4X4 PREPARATION FOR YOUR WRANGLER JL
Profender Spain Dakar Pro Shock Absorbers (front and rear)
We installed Profender's Dakar Pro set, specifically developed for intensive use on 4×4 trails and raids. These external reservoir monotube shocks significantly improve heat dissipation, reduce fade and allow for much more precise control in aggressive riding or over rough terrain. They offer progressive tuning for on-road comfort and off-road firmness.
Proland suspension springs
Combined with Dakar Pro shock absorbers, Proland springs are designed to raise the body, gain useful travel and support the additional weight of equipment without any loss of comfort. The increased height improves angles of attack, departure and toe-in, giving greater freedom of movement in technical areas.
Progressive compression stops
We incorporate progressive bump stops to protect the suspension system from sudden compressions and to maintain the vehicle's stability in jumps or impacts. In addition, being progressive, they soften the final contact and improve comfort on fast, bumpy stretches.
Proland ATS steering damper
This component helps eliminate front axle shimmy and improves steering control, especially after fitting larger tyres. The ATS (Anti-Torsion System) provides a firmer response, ideal for fast track driving or demanding situations.
Caster Front axle correction kit
By raising the suspension, the original geometry of the front axle is altered, which directly affects road handling. With this caster kit, we correct the steering caster angle, improving straight-line stability, steering wheel centring and steering feel.
Front Panhard bar corrector bracket
To maintain the correct alignment of the front axle after the lift, we installed this bracket that returns the Panhard bar to its ideal position. This prevents lateral displacement of the axle, reduces premature component wear and improves the vehicle's dynamic response.
JEEP WRANGLER JL PREPARATION
Powered by a 270bhp 2.0 V6 turbo engine, this version not only stands out for its power, but also for the customisation we've done to optimise its performance in challenging terrain. From specialised wheels to upgraded suspension and strategic accessories, we've taken the Jeep JL Rubicon to a higher level of toughness and adaptability, ideal for those looking for performance and reliability on every route.
JEEP WRANGLER JL LONG WITH V6 2.0 TURBO ENGINE
BRAID 8×17 wheels and COOPER ST MAX 35″ tyres ensure superior grip on complex terrain, allowing the customer to tackle any road with confidence and stability. This wheel and tyre combination provides increased traction and durability, essential for extreme off-roading.
Thanks to the collaboration with PROLAND and Central 4×4 Offroad, this Jeep features an upgraded suspension: 3″ springs, Dakar Profender shock absorbers and a tie rod and stabiliser system. This configuration provides the customer with a smooth and controlled driving experience, minimising vibrations in rough terrain and improving handling in difficult situations.
Equipped with a raised socket and interior protector from Almont, the Jeep JL Rubicon is ready to face extreme environments. These accessories ensure additional protection from the elements and wear and tear, allowing the customer to enjoy the adventure without worrying about damage, protecting performance and extending the life of the vehicle.
